They are amazing! I love coasters almost as much as I love not having rings on my furniture. I have several sets, but I've never had such a nice one. Each base has a unique gemstone inlay that reflects the light beautifully. They are a good size too. They are not too big like some might be. The holder holds them nicely and is made of the same thick, beautiful marble as the coasters themselves. They have no cork or other absorbent material, so don't put glasses on them that will sweat unless you put a tissue underneath (they can slippery), but they're perfect for wine glasses (or anything with a stem). ), hot tea, etc. They go well with hot drinks. Because they are made of thick marble, they are very durable. Of course they can break if you try really hard, but normal use (even falling on a tile like me 😳) doesn't hurt them that much. There is no felt on the back and while this ruins their beauty a bit I can stick some felt dots on the back to protect my furniture. However, they are beautiful, not only decorative but also useful, and I will proudly show (and use) them to my guests.
