Since using this mat I have gone from 11.4 to 8.2 in 3 months. I find the PuttOut Pressure Putt to be a must when paired with a mat. With these two devices, I've been able to practice 3-foot and 6.5-foot punches every day when I'm on conference calls or watching sports in the evening. At first it seems almost impossible to get the ball to stay in a slight depression on the pressure shot, but with persistent practice I was able to get it from 6.5 feet where I could hit it on almost 3 out of 10 attempts. Landing 3 perfect shots in a row for the first time will make you feel like you've won a big tournament! My confidence in hitting from 10 feet and beyond has grown immeasurably. The key was to improve my ability to be on the line a lot more on the stroke and always accelerate on the forward stroke. This mat has paid for itself many times over by gaining skins and confirming greens as I drained 6 feet like I was a Jordan Spit!
