Review on HUAWEI Watch GT 2 46mm: Stylish Brown Pebble Classic Smart Watch by Wiktor Niekrasz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

All in all, this is the best watch so far. For 12-14k (I don’t remember how much I bought in the official company store) it’s better not to find. You can consider amazfits, which count the pulse of the air, or harmins with their flawed reflective screen and the same sensors as here, but this is not the same. Here and functionality, and appearance, and autonomy, and sports functionality. All this in a slim package. In short, this is perhaps the first smart watch worth buying. All these Apple and Samsung - not that, live a couple of days in total, although they have more features. But I do not see a watch as a replacement for a smartphone. Here you can perform any quick actions that are convenient to do on the watch, except for quick responses to messages and calls. It is also comfortable to wear. Before that, I had never worn a watch, and I was worried that the bracelet would not fit, they would be thick, or they would look boilers - all fears turned out to be in vain. Bought blind and completely satisfied. If there were no lags here, this would be the perfect watch. Although I have written all the field for shortcomings, the software and lags are really significant here. But, since it's a watch, and I use it as a watch (and a fitness tracker), it's all . By the way, I didn’t specify above, but there are ALL types of training that are in GT2e. In general, everything. I now specifically counted: 40 workouts (including strength) + 18 entertainment (hunting, street dance, dancing) + 41 sports (such as ping-pong, billiards, parkour, auto racing, etc. ) + running courses. This is probably not even in Garmin)) By the way, the side ons have small serifs and spin nicely, but this does not carry any function. It's just that sometimes my fingers and twirl them) But they look better than sans-serifs in the younger versions. With a rubber strap, they look great too. In general, the two-color version of the Elite (black screen and dark gray body) seemed extremely stylish to me. And so it happened. In short, I hope this review was helpful. And then under my watch there are three mixed reviews and nothing is clear) Ask questions in the comments, periodically I go, I answer.

Pros
  • Appearance is decent, dark matte metal with a slight yellow-brown tint. Not the same as I expected, it does not look like anium, but still beautiful. The size of the watch is also not big and not small. I have a very thin wrist, and yet the watch fits comfortably and looks good. If you are worried that the watch will be too mive on your hand, remember that this is a men's watch. No accessory looks big on a man) I was crazy about autonomy. I chose it according to this principle, because I don’t see the point in a smart watch that needs to be removed at night. With this watch, using sleep monitoring is extremely convenient. I don't think about it for at least 10 days. In the end, for several hours during the day, I take off to charge and then use it again. They're watching everything, damn it. And the pulse, and the level of oxygen in the blood, and stress, and sleep, and additional oxygen consumed after training, and the effectiveness of training and recovery, and steps, and air pressure, and weather. Everything is there. Plus, you can swim in them and you can take calls on them. I really call from them when the phone is out of hand, or when you need to quickly answer and hang up without looking up from work. Loud enough. And all this with an autonomy of 10 days. In a thin metal case. I don't know of any other watches like this. This perfect combination won me over. I have been eyeing the wearable electronics market for two years now, and finally decided that the time has come. There is also an active community around the watch, and there is strong software that allows you to create your own watch faces, which are limited only by the capabilities of hardware. I'm good at graphic programs, and this has given me a lot of pleasant hours and will give me more. In the photo I attach my homemade dial. I adjusted the bracelet to my arm comfortably. It does not dangle, but sits freely. And the sensors work correctly, and the hand is comfortable. Due to the narrow segments, this is easy to do. The sensors are here and their algorithm setting is the same as in Garmin and other leaders. Everything measures perfectly.
Cons
  • : I swim / wash in them about 6 times a year, after the last swim, water got into the lake (you can see the droplets on the LEDs). And the warranty is over. I'll try to give it to the workshop, maybe they will dry it with absolute alcohol . The last time I flew in an airplane, I put my hand on the buckle of my belt and fell asleep. When I woke up, I found that the aluminum clasp had scratched the bracelet at the bottom and on the outside of the wrist. It seems that this aluminum has rubbed into the matte surface, but it was not possible to clean it with anything. I do not know what to do. The software is annoying. The recorded run track cannot be viewed on the map. It opens against the background of a Google map, but there is no image of the area on it, as if it is not loading. Once a month sleep monitoring falls off. Data from the watch is synchronized to the application, but is not fully loaded and gives an error. I'm going to reinstall. Maybe it's not the newest version, but this is the only version that allows you to put a custom dial on your watch without rooting your phone. There are rumors that you can get a Chinese Huawei account and become a designer through it, but I haven’t bothered yet. Closed operating system, to her! The top quick access bar in the watch has the following links: Do not disturb, Screen on, Find my phone, Alarm clock, and Settings. They can't be changed and it's crazy. The do not disturb mode (turns off notification sounds) is always on for me, because the watch has vibration and the sound is only annoying. Screen on (keeps the phone from turning off the screen for a while) doesn't need a feature at all. Are you going to read texts from him? Well, okay, let it be, you never know, turn it on during training (although activation by the wrist works correctly anyway). Settings are also not needed, I dug into them once and that's it, no longer needed. Instead, I would put a flashlight here. It really helps sometimes. But it still can't be configured. They lag. Yes, the interface is not slick. Although the GT2e seems to be smoother, it's not clear why they didn't do it here. But in general, it's not very annoying.
