rubbish you get what you pay for!

Hey everyone, Oh another disappointment. The first time was #1 McCullough 1385. Now, after another 3 months of research, I agreed to buy this piece. I don't know how others clean their house, but I wouldn't suggest this or McCulloch 1385. I don't quite understand the love for the two. Unless you hit highs and call it good. My home is seen as immaculate by all who enter. My husband calls it "Perfect Viille". I only see dirt and imperfections. After months of reading reviews and my previous experience with McCullough, I thought I had done my research well. I always spend so much time researching. I thought I bought the best at a reasonable price. I was so excited when they arrived. And then I had to use them both. I generally like to clean. But as soon as I did, I was immediately dissatisfied. McCullough burned me in many places with 2nd degree burns, he shot my eyes with hot steam. Not cool. The handle was so hot it was impossible to touch it. In fact, some nozzles even melted. It also didn't have the cleaning power it claimed. But the chord was longer than the vaparmore. Both left more water than desired on the wooden floors. I just wanted both devices to do what they promise. I understand that my definition of cleaning is EXTREME. And that other people's definitions of purification are two completely different things. I have been known to clean again after having it cleaned by a paid professional because the job they did was very poor. This lasted for several days. Unfortunately, when something is done so badly, it only makes things worse! It ends up costing more and requiring more work for the person who needs to fix or clean it. It took longer because I had to remove excess water. Push the pads out further. Because there is only one and you have to wait for it to cool down. I'll admit I'm obsessive, organized - everything has its place, picky, neat freak and such. I like cleaning. It needed more than 3 gallons of distilled water per 1 cm2. Bathroom and 2 bedrooms on my top floor which is approximately 1100sqm. It was pretty clean in there as I clean often and clean thoroughly every time. Pros: Squeegee turns into a curtain/garment steamer. HOT Causes hand cramps. Does not allow long steam. You have to keep pressing the button, hence the bubbles. The hose is too short. The wheels don't turn. Need 360 wheels Chord not long enough Chord gets hot Too much water No extra wipes And I got burned It didn't clean the grout at all, even with the chemicals added. But if you add heavy chemicals, you lose the purpose of getting a vape! They don't give you extra microfiber velcro cloths to attach to the floor or cover the mop. I have a feeling they can add 1 extra each for $299. And the right ones aren't sold at Revain. I sincerely hope this helps you narrow the circle. If you're looking to buy a steamer, start saving and wait until you get a really good one. Look in the $600-$1000 range. Look for stainless steel kettles so you can use tap water and get ones that come with a lifetime kettle warranty and a 1-2-5 year parts warranty. Usually they are good people! I realize this is a really expensive investment, but consider the inconvenience and ongoing expense of distilled water. Just a great guarantee. And you get what you pay for. If you're a cleaner like me, this will pay for itself in no time. Get some side jobs. Wash a house or two and a few cars. There are some really good companies out there with great vapers πŸ˜‰ Thank you for your time and attention.
