Review on Plantronics Voyager 5200 (Poly) - Bluetooth Over-the-Ear (Monaural) Headset - Cell Phone Compatible - Noise Canceling - Charger Not Included by Chong Nahm Cho ᠌

There is absolutely no product, do not buy it.

The sensor that determines the position of the headset is triggered once. And this means that during an outgoing call you do not know whether the conversation will go into the headset or into the phone lying in your pocket. Moreover, while waiting, the headset hums, saying that the connection is about to begin, the conversation is about to begin. But since her sensor says that she is not on the ear, the conversation from the phone does not switch to her. You have to switch the conversation to the bluetooth headset mode right on the phone, and then . and then this: The headset is too abstruse noise reduction system. It is raw, does not work correctly and it does not turn off. Here you are walking down the street and pass by a running tractor. Of course, they don’t hear the tractor at the other end . but they hear that my voice was distorted beyond recognition. And I gave another rough example. In fact, the noise reduction starts to be fierce even in the simplest conditions: here I am going in complete silence and having a conversation through the headset. I open a creaky locker . the headset recognized this creak and the noise canceler turned on. ((and for half a minute they ask me again about the connection, why my voice is distorted beyond recognition. I don’t know why, but the noise canceling does not allow you to use this headset in a hood. You put on a hood, from which the voice reaches the far microphone very well (which just picks up the noise), and then the noise canceler wakes up. He cuts his voice. At all. Under the root. "Her! Ay! Where are you going?! Where did you disappear to?" - I hear this as soon as I put the hood on my head. My smartphone Xiaomi Mi5 works out noise much better and does not distort the voice at all. Every time people start complaining about the quality of the connection, I just turn off the headset and switch to the phone - and everything is as it should be.

Pros
  • Constructive. Done well. But it is massive and you can’t call it light.
Cons
  • The headset from Plantronics 5200 is a raw product, unusable.

Has some pros Sound. Noise suppression. The convenience of the application. Cons: In the area of \u200b\u200bthe swivel mount, the plastic has fallen apart and is held on by a wire. I don't know how long it will last. Expensive.

Got pros: this is a modified Voyager Legend model - in my opinion there is no better headset and cannot be now Has cons: compared to Legend, it holds a charge worse, falls off the phone more often

you won’t find better on the market, if you don’t mind the size and design - take it, you won’t regret it. I put four only because Legend was better for less money)

A very comfortable headset, unlike the LG HBS-500 and Jabra Elite 25e, it does not glitch when working with two phones.
