My daughter loves this coat! Normally she only goes to a size 7 but I bought a small size 7/8. It might fit in the XS, but probably not this season. The little one fits her a bit big which I like because it means it lasts longer! Although it's tall, the sleeves are in a bun and the waist is elasticated for a tighter look so she doesn't swim around. We both LOVE that it's long! The back actually drops a little lower to further protect the butt. She's an average height for a 6 year old and the small size is almost to her knees (I told you it's a bit big for her) but that just adds to the warmth. The fabric is nice but durable. looks good enough for a 6 year old who likes to look "fancy". I used to buy cheaper "fancy" winter coats and they don't last at all. (They were half the price too, but now that we have a little sister we can donate the dresses and we can probably get another year for big sister, that coat is worth the investment.) We bought the cobalt blue is a very rich color, kind of purple which is a bonus for my baby. Onmiheat is great - I have slippers with me and they are very warm. I just noticed that there are identical shoes!
