AS toilets come with a 5 or 10 year warranty

I bought this part even though it is covered by the standard American warranty. AS customer service is friendly but all the parts you need are already on order. An item arrived after 3 weeks, this item was ordered after 6 weeks. They will not tell you the item is out of stock unless you ask. If you tell AS customer service that you are using Clorox toilet cleaning tablets, they will tell you that your toilet warranty has been voided. Apparently this turns the AS rubber parts into a spongy material. I find this interesting because a refurbished toilet is less than 4 years old, a UPC toilet over 20 years old won't hurt using the same pills. I was surprised to receive the part I ordered from Revain (in standard US packaging) within a week. I think AS Revain.Part orders are easy to install. Check prices with sellers, they vary widely.
