Quality construction

Not for toilet use. Took it for a backyard return tank to dispense water from a 5 gallon bucket hanging over a victim's head. High flow, better than standard 2 1/2" drain valves. If you are buying this for your toilet, make sure it will fit. Most toilets use a 2 1/2" valve. SOME standard American toilets (but not all) use this high-capacity node. When you make a dump. This is better as it lets 50% more water through in seconds. Big summer fun or big flush. Your choice!

before you buy it. - Toilet parts

If you are buying this because you have a nasty water leak that trips your tank valve from time to time, make sure the hose to the overflow pipe is attached to the top of the pipe. don't put it in the pipe! When this happens, a siphon action occurs, draining your tank to the point where the float turns on the water to fill the tank. I've replaced three flaps, made sure the seat is free of scale or nicks, but it's still leaking. Desperate to order this set but got lost on the way. Revane…

WORKS LIKE A MAGIC - Toilet Flush Valves

Who doesn't love a good toilet flush valve? When we reno'd a few years ago. We bought 3 identical toilet bowls. and a funny thing. all three were washed away by the spirits at about the same time. I know it has to do with the fact that we used chlorinated toilet flushers. This caused the original rubber seal to swell into something black and dirty. it was literally torn to pieces, like a swollen black grease sponge. definitely. Rather than just replacing the shutters, their cost justifies…

AS toilets come with a 5 or 10 year warranty

I bought this part even though it is covered by the standard American warranty. AS customer service is friendly but all the parts you need are already on order. An item arrived after 3 weeks, this item was ordered after 6 weeks. They will not tell you the item is out of stock unless you ask. If you tell AS customer service that you are using Clorox toilet cleaning tablets, they will tell you that your toilet warranty has been voided. Apparently this turns the AS rubber parts into a spongy…

Does what it's supposed to do

This is a factory replacement for the American Standard Cadet 3 1.6 gallon toilet flush valve. Mine lasted about ten years and the rubber gasket was starting to deteriorate as were the washers between the tank and bowl. It was easy to install. Just follow the instructions and when you get the hang of it, stock up on a tank to bowl junction kit with new washers and a tank to bowl gasket. One trick I've learned with this toilet over the years is that 1.6 gallons don't always provide an even…
