OK, but not that good.

I read a lot of reviews and watched a few youtube videos before purchasing this bag but was quick to return it. Honestly I can't believe this gets such rave reviews. Yes it is well made with quality material and can be configured in many ways and I agree with others that it looks good. Despite all that, I didn't keep it and wouldn't recommend it. Why? Three main reasons: 1. Partitions really don't fit, especially constructive ones. They don't wrap around the bag enough to secure it properly, at least not in any position. 2. Even though the case advertises a side access option, if you configure the dividers to tightly hold even a full frame side access DSLR, you must have the dividers partially attached to the access door/hatch, so whenever You want to get the camera, you need to rip the small door/shield out of the dividers. 3. And that's great. If you have a 15" laptop on top (and it fits snugly in your case), the back is too thick to fit back in your bag. The laptop/case is now pressed against the rigid structural dividers and the bag doesn't close well without serious pressure from the zipper, which I wouldn't do. This bag either needs more laptop space or shorter baffles freeing up to properly mount your camera or tearing the door out of the dividers. If they make a version III and fix these problems I would buy them again. Until then, I have to say it's a well built, comfortable bag with excellent ideas, but it's just not quite finished as it is and doesn't work properly. Good quality aside, and even if the issues are fixed, it doesn't cost more than $230. I thought it might be, but it's not. Fix the problems and sell it for $150 and sign me up for a back order.
