Interior: Camera Bags

If I wanted to improve this bag I would make a thicker and more flexible padding for the inside so the bag would better suit my needs. I had to borrow padding from another backpack to get this one to work for me. Would I buy this bag again? If you like having all the Easter eggs in one basket, sure, but if not I'd save my money. The most important thing is that you start taking photos. I think the simpler the better. I'm really not a fan of soft interior walls, but I'm sure I'll come up with…

This bag is almost perfect

This bag is almost perfect. In the past I always found an excuse not to buy an expensive bag. I saw one of these bags with a drone AND a camera so I had to take it because I wanted a strong portable bag for everything. It's hard-peeled in all the right places. Lots of pockets, easy to adjust and you have multiple ways to access things. The best part for me is that when you fold and open the bag you can see everything and the flap and straps are out of the way. I will repeat some of the same…

Great bag, can stand up with some help.

This bag is very large, but I ordered it to carry all the necessary photography equipment. Anything "new" about this bag from last year's model is worth the extra price. Oh, and by the way, you can stand this bag on its hind legs. I cut a 12mm/1/2" diameter hollow carbon rod/tube, just over a foot long, and thread this rod through the loops at the bottom. To prevent the rod from moving, use a Pair of rubber furniture leg caps to cover the ends Apply some glue under the ends if they slide off…

A few downsides in this bag

In general I like the bag. Aesthetically it looks really great and it gives you a professional feel if you're like me and want to appear to your clients as a professional photographer and not one of the flamboyants. But the bag has one main thread and that is that the bottom of the bag is not a hard shell but nylon material which does not let the bag stand still which in turn causes the bag to always tip over face down. This causes the bag to pick up a lot of dirt from the ground when you try…

OK, but not that good.

I read a lot of reviews and watched a few youtube videos before purchasing this bag but was quick to return it. Honestly I can't believe this gets such rave reviews. Yes it is well made with quality material and can be configured in many ways and I agree with others that it looks good. Despite all that, I didn't keep it and wouldn't recommend it. Why? Three main reasons: 1. Partitions really don't fit, especially constructive ones. They don't wrap around the bag enough to secure it properly, at

Backpack for serious photographers

I now have several backpacks including a backpack from Peak Design which I used to carry my gear to events. I have 2 Sony mirrorless cameras, a full and an APSC. This backpack holds them, lenses and accessories. It's very well made and you don't look like you're trying to be a hipster by wearing it around. No offense, but a lot of camera backpacks look like people trying to look cool at the local coffee shop, not people who actually use them. Some of them are very well made, including the PD…

Lowepro wins for bags & cases

I've had the smaller Lowepro pack since 2012 and it's been great! So I chose this more expensive backpack over the cheaper ones that I thought were in the same class. My first assignment was at a wedding shoot. I managed to take two Canon cameras with batteries and 6 lenses: Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 Art, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 Sports, CanonEF-S 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 NanoUSM and Canon EF. -S 10-18mm f4.5-5.6, Canon EF 50mm f1.8 and Canon EF-S 18-55mm macro lens. I was also able to fit two Godox V860IIs and a

Nice bag, could have been better, much better

This bag has a few good features, but it has enough frustratingly bad specs that I can't rate it higher. OK. This is a sturdy, well-made bag. The foam is stiff enough to offer more protection than I'm used to in a camera bag. Unfortunately, all the padding makes the bag a bit heavy. The interior of the bag is a large open space with just enough dividers to allow for a wide range of customization options. There are three ways to get in. I'm not sure I need that many options, but some might find…

Great versatile camera backpack

OVERVIEW I travel extensively for photography and videography and wanted a backpack for my photography gear. Also when traveling abroad I wanted something that would fit my full frame 5D4 and my Mavic Pro. In addition, it must be durable, comfortable and weatherproof. Lowepro ProTactic offers all this and more. WHAT'S IN THE BAG I can put all the following equipment in this bag. Even for its size, zipping with the gear is a bit difficult, but when everything is perfectly arranged, the zips…
