This bag is very large, but I ordered it to carry all the necessary photography equipment. Anything "new" about this bag from last year's model is worth the extra price. Oh, and by the way, you can stand this bag on its hind legs. I cut a 12mm/1/2" diameter hollow carbon rod/tube, just over a foot long, and thread this rod through the loops at the bottom. To prevent the rod from moving, use a Pair of rubber furniture leg caps to cover the ends Apply some glue under the ends if they slide off too easily The rod was tight but the bag will be stable on the floor Now there is no problem The stem doesn't bother either the rain cover doesn't have any other feature other than not being able to carry a tripod in there. Also I didn't like the tripod hitting me from behind so I wouldn't put it there anyway. Now you can access the top cover of your stand up pouch and don't need to support the bag to stay upright I hope you found this tip helpful.
