I applied 4 coats to the ceiling but still too many defects. The ceiling was a light pastel green and I covered it with pale off white paint and still didn't cover many of the stains. Had to buy another color from Lowe to finally get the job done.

She was like water didn't even start to cover I had to run and buy a girl from a little shop on the spot because I already had someone painting for me at home it cost me 35 gallons per color not counting the money per gallon I bought from this customer.

That's a gallon of latex paint delivered to your door for $20! Yes, that's not the quality of the $40 paint, but I really liked it. Two layers covered bare plywood very well. Not diluted, easy to apply with a roller, not too dripping or running! Would buy again.

Very thin paint, but should refresh an almost 10 year old hallway with an almost identical shade. Use a good brush, apply to small areas one thick coat at a time and it worked the way I needed it to. If you want to change the color of the wall, either use a better brand or prime the wall first.

If you have money and time to spend, this color is for you. I bought a bluish gray and after 2 coats I could still see underneath and there was a light coat underneath. A wipe after drying for a few days and all the paint came off. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this color is terrible, you get what you pay for and you get even less with this color.

I brought this paint home for my brothers, he loved how smooth it was when he used a roller with this paint, he was impressed with the texture and would like another 5 gallons if the weather a is slightly warmer. Only one layer covers the wall, he couldn't believe it, he last painted his living room a few years ago, there were stains on the walls, an incredible sight, not a trace of stains anymore.

If you can remove the plastic lid latch without damaging the can you end up with cheap ranch gas consistency paint inside. It covers about as well as if you used ranch dressing. Someone advised me to just return my jar when I asked how to safely remove the lid. It's a shame I didn't follow this advice as it was a waste of energy, time, patience, paint rollers and money and my painting project is now on hold while I go buy better paint. Save yourself the frustration guys, you've had enough.

Firstly I'm not sure why there are negative reviews for this Diamond Brite Dove Grey. This was my first time using this brand and was pleased to find one on such a budget.
