I used Rustoleum Hammered Black on my 20 year old Bobcat 873g. I only painted over the original Bobcat black paint and was very careful not to over spray onto the original white. I did not color change anything. I like the new hammered look. Naturally if you are looking to re-sell, keep it 100% factory colors. Heavy equipment is worth more without any paint work.

have used this product before. different color. could not find this color around my area so bought it from amazon. have always had good luck with rust oleum.

Excellent product for wicker.I painted a loveseat, chair and table set for the porch and it turned out much better than I anticipated. Purchased 6 cans and used 5. Saving the last can in case I want to paint something else to match the furniture.I did have to spray it twice. After that I hit a couple spots that I missed. Let dry for 2 days and it is perfect. The hammered black is more like a deep gray with somewhat of a metallic finish, but not actually shiny. I love it.

This is great spray paint. We actually used this product about 7 years ago to paint and awning and it still looks great. No chipping, not too much fading. I bought another can to up-cycle an old metal cabinet. I’ll post pics when I’m done.

Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the hammered matte black color. I’ve used their "hammered” metallic products before, just not this color. My goal was to upcycle these 4 exterior lights with a fresh paint job. I forgot to take before pics, but you can kind of see the original color where my hand is holding the light. I was going for a hammered wrought iron look, and one can was plenty to do 2-3 coats on four of these lights. (I am near the end of the can, though, enough left for touch ups)…

Used this to paint my white aluminum rain gutters and make them look like copper. From the street you can't tell. I put on three coats and we had a bad hailstorm and not one of them chipped the paint. Good product. Easy application. Nice and durable.

The cans i received from Walmart sprayed 50% better then ones I've purchased from the stores I think maybe its because the paint don't just sit there on a shelf its being mixed as it gets delivered thats only my opinion see for yourself!

I was looking for a dark, antique bronze or flat black, but this has a bit of a sheen and that makes it looks more like a dark gray.

Giving this four stars because it looks almost exactly like the cap color and even gets texture like the cap. The only thing I noticed in my test sprays is that there's little silver sparkles that collect in pockets throughout the spray. So it gets a worn copper look, not a new copper look. Keep that in mind. Otherwise it was a great spray and I would buy again.
