Amazing paint I have a lot of cabinets I ordered 4 of the largest size I only used 2 and applied 3 coats A little goes a long way! I will never use any other color for my projects again! I paint furniture for a living and all my clients love the result!

I love this color! I'm currently renovating my bathroom on a budget and this color is awesome! I made 2 coats, slightly distressed, then polyacrylic because it's in the bathroom and I wasn't sure how it would go! But you could do absolutely 1 in most cases, I'm sure! I don't have better quality photos right now. But I wanted to show how great he looks! Once I'm done I'll update it with the best photos!

A beautiful color that I could not find in any other brand of chalk paint. I love that it is as smoke proof as my daughter's room will be. The only thing I will say is that Amazon says no primer is needed and I would probably agree if I didn't paint over the dark spot. However, the included brochure recommends a primer. It's okay, I just put on more layers, but for others, just remember to reconsider the primer. I am very happy about the grand opening in my daughter's room!

So. I love this color and will use it in the future. However, I think I'll have to repaint it in a different color. I got the impression that the color of the liquorice was black with a slight dark blue tint. I checked the color before buying. However, it reads much bluer than expected and is much more dark blue than black (see photo with black picture frame in the background). The photos don't show how blue it is. Is there no true black in this line? I'm frustrated that I have to buy another…

I'll add later if you're painting a laminate item like a pre-painted dresser or something that scratches easily. Make sure you prep it first, although the product says it requires no prep on some of the surfaces it does. You also need a good and durable top coat to protect against scratches. My fingernail scratched it and you could see the original paint underneath. Don't use wax as a top coat if it's an everyday item. This color covers perfectly! It is effortless and dries very quickly. I placed it on a contractor's bathroom cabinet and it stuck without having to pre-sand the surface. Two coats of paint were needed due to the color of the cabinet and paint, but this is a kid's bathroom and will need it anyway. After drying, I applied floor polish to create a protective barrier.
