I have used the children's version of this before and as far as I can tell from the ingredients there is no difference. I usually use a soft, damp, warm cloth to clean my eyelids every morning to keep blepharitis at bay. But this year I have allergies for the first time in a long time, especially my eyes are very itchy. I decided to buy them in a box to wipe my eyes without heat (heat makes eye allergy symptoms worse). At first I tried using cool water instead of warm water and it didn't seem to clean my eyes well and it still made my itchy eyes worse. This cloth was very soothing, cleaned my eyes slightly and relieved the itching for a while. Bye. I used one cloth for both eyes, making sure to use a new piece for each eye. Some people cut them in half, but that can introduce germs. (UPDATE: In my second box, the towels were exactly square and folded evenly, so it was hard to keep track of which end I was already using. I now have sterilized scissors on hand to cut them in half before fully unfolding, each one use half per eye.) I am very happy with this purchase. They're too expensive to use all the time and less eco-friendly than reusable fabrics, but they're great for travel or allergy season. I am very sensitive to perfumes and odors and only use hypoallergenic lotions, cleansers etc. They appear to be odorless and did not bother me at all. They do not cause burning or irritation to the eyes.
