Not the materials it's made of; and i bought the table with that in mind. With that in mind, I got exactly what I expected - a new lap table that's strong enough not to break when picked up with a heavier laptop on it. The "like" pocket under the front of the table was a bit flattened but the back one holds up well but the front one had fewer styrofoam balls so I expected that too. Foam, which is actually better than what was considered a palm rest on my previous lap table, but may not be comfortable for everyone. to say that at the moment I definitely recommend it.
