so let me start by doing my makeup once a year maybe if i'm lucky. I do very basic makeup and have no idea what these brushes are for. Before I bought this set I literally had two brushes that I used for everything. Not saying that I really love these brushes. They are so smooth and glide so well. I've never had bristles slide so easily across my face. They also hold makeup very well. With my previous brush I had to keep going back to powder or eyeshadow to get more pigment and reapply it, but with these brushes you apply the powder once and it glides over your face and just smooths out all of the makeup so perfectly. These brushes are so cheap but they do a great job. I know everyone is tempted to buy expensive ones just because they're supposed to be good, but why spend all that extra money when they work so fantastically.
