I was looking for something to entertain my almost 2 year old daughter that she could do with my 8 year old too. At the same time, I was looking for something that we could use in the classroom for our toddler class at our children's church that would be safe, fun, and helpful. When I stumbled across these beads I thought they were just what I was looking for. My 2 year old daughter loves making things work or putting things together and thought she would have fun figuring out how to tie them together. It would also give me the opportunity to work with her on shapes and colors and I was right! She likes them very much, takes them out several times a day and plays with them for quite a long time each time.
