I love this stylish clip-on light as a quick and easy solution for video conferencing at the doctor's office, Zoom sessions at school for my son, or video chatting with family. I have terrible lighting in my living room and the camera on my laptop is really poor quality for this techie. This is my next investment. Meanwhile, improving the quality of the video really helps, if only because of better lighting. I used to struggle on and off with the default settings on the built-in laptop to compensate for the lighting, but it was either washed out by too much light, or I was surrounded by shadow spots or weird color shifts. I've used a desktop ring light from time to time, but I generally prefer it for more professional video or fb live video streams than casual meetings. Also, it's much more portable and easy to put on and take off on both my laptop and phone. I used a clip-on mini ring light for my selfie phone, but it didn't have as much power as this one. It reminds me of a video camera flashbulb.
