Review on πŸͺ₯ Micro-Nano Manual Toothbrush with Extra Soft Bristles for Fragile Gums - 4 Piece Set in Black and White by Maria Hanson

A good option for many.

Atypical brush but probably ideal for visually impaired children who are very sensitive to textures and hard materials. It's great for my 9 year old's braces. It cleans the braces well and he can finally clean the gum line comfortably. I bought the softest bristles I could find in every store I visited, they were still too hard for his gums. He had a bleeding disorder for a while and brushing his teeth caused stomatitis or bleeding - I wish I had known about it at the time. This is not a "deep cleaning" toothbrush. This indicates that he brushed his teeth well. It was a different cleaning feeling. To test, I used regular Colgate toothpaste. There was a feeling that he was moving the paste and could not grasp it. But after constant brushing, the teeth started to splay and I was able to start brushing my teeth. My front teeth are big so I feel really clean there. However, my bottom teeth are crowded and smaller. They don't feel as clean as the bristles don't come in to clean them. My gums feel great! The bristles on the gums are almost like a velvet brush. I would definitely recommend these brushes to anyone who needs a soft bristle brush. Especially for the elderly, people with special needs, children with disabilities, brace wearers and even pets. I'm sure it would be really great for nervous pets who don't like brushing their teeth or have bad gums. I think it will even work well as a second brush to spread teeth whitening paste or gel. Do not let bristles dry completely. I rinsed the brush, shook out as much water as I could, and then dipped it in the sea salt water. Let's hope the salt will disinfect it and make it last longer.

Pros
  • Manual toothbrushes
Cons
  • Not as thick as other toothbrushes
