I bought this for my son to use instead of a wooden chair at the table. It's more convenient and loves the extra storage space. We also sometimes put it on the sofa as a footstool and even use it to sit and play video games. I can easily fit on it and it's light enough to move around with. It's a bit awkward to lift by the sides, so I just slide a hand under the part of the seat that's lifting and wiggle it in that direction. We didn't attach the legs because the height is great without them, and we also didn't want them to scratch our hardwood floor, which is easy to scratch. My cats like to lay on it too, but don't seem too bothered about sticking their claws in - which is good.
