Tbh overall it wasn't too bad. Easy to assemble, robust and does what it promises. The only point of criticism is the imprecise color reproduction. I bought this for my son to use instead of a wooden chair at the table. It's more convenient and loves the extra storage space. We also sometimes put it on the sofa as a footstool and even use it to sit and play video games. I can easily fit on it and it's light enough to move around with. I've had this ottoman less than a week and I've noticed that the padding on the top is squeezing, especially around the edges. It really pinches when you put your feet on it, so much so that the buttons that button it up hang down, so I have to be careful moving my legs around or to the side or they'll rip out. Like some of the other reviewers, I thought that one of the 'legs' could not be attached (due to the poor design). With a bit of fiddling, however, I was finally able to insert the bolt. The product is not too unstable on hard floors and works great on carpet/rug. The problem with my item is that there are ridges on the sides which indicate poor construction. I doubted it would match my living room decor but I pulled the trigger and am very pleased. The material is very nice and matches my accent chairs perfectly (that never happens!). The ottoman seems sturdy enough for my purposes (to hide TV accessories when not in use and rest my feet on them). I'm a little worried about the lid moving when my niece and nephew start sitting on it, but that just shows continued use/exposure. For now, I'm definitely not going to let them stand on it or jump on it.
