Love the shape of this bowl and the gray finish (which actually is more like light blue) is nice to look at, however the first time we used them, both bowls sustained chips in the paint from being lightly tapped. These pillows are soft and will fill a 18 inch pillow case. I ordered the pillow cases from amazon as well. The way you insert the pillow into the cases will determine how full your pillow will look.
