Decent for the price

I use it on an old SUV that we tow behind our camper. However, the speedometer needle on the truck is broken, so getting a special speedometer and odometer to keep track of the mileage was a good and cheap option, since the built-in odometer also works when towing. This way I can keep track of engine maintenance. I also wanted proof that I wasn't driving "TOO FAST". My passengers keep telling me to slow down when we're only going 40. don't you know why Maybe because the truck is 25 years old and mostly assembled from spare parts. Where is the confidence in my mechanical abilities? You have to shake to feel alive! However. This is a review of the thing, not my poor old truck. This is the first unit of this type I've tried and it seems to be working well, the odometer shows I've ridden about 35 miles since installing it. So more time will tell. - GPS blockage varies from instantaneous to 1 minute, likely depending on how far the vehicle has been driven (towed) since its last trip. - "Total Ride Time” located at the bottom left. field, which, I suspect, only increases during movement. As others have said, a 20 minute drive will invariably be a lot less if you've been sitting still a lot. Height, as others have pointed out, seems like a waste of time. This is always present when the vehicle is moving, this field alternates between the time provided by the GPS system and the altitude. I'd rather it just show the time, or maybe switch between the time and the odometer (total miles ridden with the device on). The time in military format (24 hours) is also not configurable. When it matters. You don't have an odometer display unless you're sitting still, and then this box will flash continuously, showing your total mileage. This device does not have an external antenna, so it may interfere with GPS locking if you place it back under the dash or under the instrument cluster lip.
