I bought this cable along with a 50ft HDMI cable to connect my TV in the living room to my computer in the office. This USB cable is used for the Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Adapter and the Wireless Game Controller Adapter, all of which connect to a small USB hub that connects to the other end of this cable. While sometimes it worked, it often didn't work either. Case in point: I booted up my computer this morning, only to hear a repeating "USB disconnected" noise from Windows. Disconnecting this cable solved the problem immediately, but reconnecting it caused the errors to continue. I've tried plugging it into different ports on the motherboard and even replaced the USB hub on the other end in case that was the cause of the problem but nothing seems to work, the problem is clearly with the cable itself. This recurring disconnection problem is in Happened probably 10 times in the five weeks I've had this cable. Unfortunately I only have a few days past the return window. It's just frustrating because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and I haven't found a reliable way to fix its problems when they start.
