Good charger but won't stay in cigarette lighter adapter

The shape of this charger says a lot. I don't know if it's my 4Runner or this adapter, but it won't stay in the cigarette lighter. It fits and feels secure, but pops out after 20 minutes. However, I've plugged it into a different adapter and it stays fine. The rest of the charger works very well.
