Review on ๐Ÿ”ญ Astromania 1.25-Inch Metal Collimating Cheshire Eyepiece - Long Version for Newtonian Reflector Telescope by Matt Conner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Wish I had the long version

Bought this to collimate a used Orion XT8 that was far from collimating. The XT8 is my second scope, but it was my first attempt at collimation. It took many hours and I still wasn't very happy with my progress, but when I finally got him outside one night I realized he was actually quite dialed in. I use it several times a month for a few months. now I don't have to touch it anymore. Definitely get the long version if it fits like I would have liked. I will be buying something else for collimation soon.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Repair
