These headphones are not for everyone. Their best quality is also their worst limitation. As you can see from the description, they are open plan in the sense that you can hear everything around you. If you're looking for a pair of headphones that you can wear comfortably when someone is talking to you, or if you're going for a walk in the woods to hear everything that's going on around you, then these are for you. That functionality comes with some big compromises, however, as it's impossible to put a speaker next to your ear (as opposed to covering your ear) and pretend it's producing good bass. I think they are great for the following purposes. Usage: 1) To participate in calls where sound quality is not that important but being able to hear what's going on around you is a plus. 2) For use in a training class where you would like to hear instructions but also have your own music. However, remember that you will hear both when music is playing. 3) Use while at work when you don't want to isolate yourself from your surroundings. Bass, you'll like them. If you are a music lover then this is not for you. I personally like them, but only in certain cases. For the price I paid for them they are worth 5 stars in my opinion. I haven't tried bone conduction but reading reviews it seems they have similar limitations.
