I bought this batteries for a lantern that I use ice fishing in the early morning and sun down. Installed the batteries and turn on the lantern and set a timer and it ran an 1 hour and 52 minutes with not loosing very much brightness. The LuxPro lantern says 1.75 hours on high . So I would have to say that they are a very good batteries. And I would buy again even using them in the cold weather.

Updated 7-29-16EBL contacted me and send me a new replacement and it's working fine now. It takes around 3 to 5 hours to fully charge the battery now.Therefore, if you the charge doesn't get green light after 6 hours then contact MFG for replacement.I have bought the 8 batteries + the charger. I use quite a few EBL rechargeable batteries and have been extremely happy. Previously I used an AC charger which was quick but required charging in pairs and lots of my headlights and flashlights are 3-cell. With this charger I am able to do singles or odd numbers which is great, it's just slow even with a high amperage USB charger.

The batteries arrived fully charged (I guess). At least I thought they were fully charged: when I placed them in the charger the LED lights were all green. For fully charged batteries they drained surprisingly quickly in two of my devices which turned off suddenly due to low battery. Nicely priced charger with individual charging circuits for each battery. Many chargers nowadays charge in pairs even though batteries can age differently with one requiring a different charge period than the other resulting in over charging or under charging. This one assures me that each battery has been charged correctly. I received the item on time. The battery was empty. So, I decided to charge it but I notice one of the outlets did not work and the other outlets were able to charge. So instead of using four outlets l only have three outlets to use. I plan contacting the seller for a replacement charger or return the product. I will give on updates on what happens. But over all , I am happy with the battery but not the charger.

I use these batteries in my front strobe light on my bicycle. I have 2 sets of rechargeable batteries that I swap out almost daily after a 2 hour ride. One set of batteries by another brand are 1000mAh and these are 1100mAh. Let me tell ya these work noticeably better, are brighter and last longer. I'm not sure if the difference in brand or the extra 100mAh, but if I were to purchase any more, I would definitely choose these. I can easily see the difference.
