The machine works to make coffee but there is noise and shifting in tone. impressive?. for something supposedly intended for making coffee. If it was an annoying noise machine it would be 4 or 5 stars. However, it is capable of making both coffee and espresso, it can even make 2 espressos at the same time. But unless you really mix it with coffee and espresso like you do everyday, I don't see it as a good option. For a coffee pot, this thing makes a series of rattling/vibrating noises for about 2 minutes, with notes going up and down like a symphony. For K cups, it's very noisy and a little awkward to use as the pod is inserted into the espresso pen and you then have to insert it into the machine. So it's not very good to be half asleep trying to get the handle into position. Also, the device doesn't have time, so you can't get that coffee that's waiting for you in the morning. And the water level sensor doesn't seem to work well - if you only have enough water for part of your request it will start and then stop halfway through. And if it runs out of water, you can't just top up and carry on, you have to turn the unit off, flip the switch to standby (why would that even be an option?) and then turn it back on. and switch it back to brews. It's too complicated and he should let you know when there isn't enough water before he starts giving you an incomplete cup/pot of coffee.
