I chose it for a hike that unfortunately hasn't taken place yet due to the current situation. However, for the purposes of this review, I tested it at home. The fan blows a lot of air and is quite quiet. I put it in my room while I slept and turned on a battery powered USB fan and it ran all night on a 10kmah battery. The fan itself was quiet enough for me to sleep comfortably and threw out enough air to keep me cool enough compared to my regular tower fan. The clamping mechanism works well because it uses magnets; so it can actually stay in most places. However, depending on the angle of your tent, it may slide down over time. Overall it works great and I can't wait to actually use it.
