This will save you a lot of money on batteries. I used it for two days and immediately ordered another one for my son. I've been using it for about a week and can't understand why everyone doesn't have it yet. You can use it a number of ways: 1. My favorite is to plug it into a USB charger (not included - I use the one that came with my mobile phone) which plugs into an outlet/extension cord next to the chair. Using this method, it looks like a traditional wired controller but does NOT need to be plugged into your console. I can plug in the cable and play in the gamepad without batteries at all.2. Plug it into a USB port on a nearby computer and play with the cable.3. Plug into any Xbox/PC/Laptop/Phone USB charging port and let it charge when not in use. Then unplug and play wirelessly for hours. I played four hours straight and it was still good. The best gaming accessory I've ever bought!
