All spirals have jagged, sharp centers and the pattern peels off them. There is also a mismatched pair of plugs in the 14g pack which is where I am at right now as I have just started stretching. I bought these as a backup in case I lose the steel plugs I have now because I already lost one from the other set π but Def wouldn't buy them again anyway. I would honestly try to send back for a refund but when I paid for another bag to put in and paid to have the label printed (I ran out of ink and there is no Oops store near me) as well find a safe place to drop off, just not worth it. I'll do without big plugs and just throw away the coils, I guess
