If you, like me, like beautiful, thoughtful, well-made things from a well-known Western (Swiss) company that sells its products all over the world (and not only in 2022, like, say, Polaris) and specializes in this area, let slightly deprived of functionality in comparison, for example, with the same Polaris - feel free to take it, you will not regret it. Its pros: Looks like an expensive designer item. No wonder he was awarded the RedDot Award. Premium materials to match. High build quality. Relatively small dimensions. Non-irritating display illumination even in the absence of night mode. The complete absence of white traces of steam on the furniture - despite the fact that I - contrary to the instructions recommending pouring ordinary tap water - pour water from the reverse osmosis system into it. Sufficiently capacious tank (4.5 l). Optional water heating. Well, and most importantly - the amazing convenience of a vertical gulf of water without removing the tank. The last advantage for me personally was the decisive argument for the purchase. Cons below: Noisy, especially at night and outside the city. True, the noise is uniform regardless of the blowing speed (and at first it seems that the fan is noisy, but no - it is the noise of the ultrasonic evaporator) and resembles a quiet roar. I think that the level of 25 dB declared by the manufacturer should meet. (I judge by my air conditioner, which operates at 20 dB and is almost inaudible at night.) But it does not gurgle at all, like other cheap ultrasonic humidifiers. When I turned it on for the first time, I was frightened by a loud sound, as if the fan was gaining momentum after a long downtime, so I rashly even thought to hand it over. But after a few hours, it seemed to develop and now it almost does not bother with noise. But it cannot be called completely silent either. In addition, such an expensive humidifier could be equipped with a remote control and an ionizer. Another drawback, or rather oddity of operation, is that the touch buttons only respond to ultra-fast and ultra-light pressing: if you press the button a little longer and harder, the device will not respond. To tell the truth, I did not immediately get used to such a feature. And finally, I note the need for periodic replacement (at least once every 6 months), probably an expensive water purification filter, without which the humidifier will not work (I tried).
