I wish the instructions were a bit more detailed and I wish it came with a mounting bracket, but it seems to work fine.
When using on a bike that already has a speed sensor (in my case it's an 01 Yamaha Roadstar) you can use the speed sensor already on the bike instead of the supplied magnetic sensor. Just find your wires and swap them until you get speed (we used 1st gear on the jack). In my application only 2 wires are needed. I wish the instructions were a bit more detailed and wished it came with a bracket. but it seems to be working fine.
