So I received my package today and I'm pretty sure I got a used one because not only was the odometer box open but the missing parts as well. There are no spare parts for the sensor and the sensor itself. Discreet spend of $55 for what was shipped used.

The tachometer is the main belt of the device, there is no cable to control the tachometer needle and nothing is specified in the instructions. Manufacturer doesn't provide contact information, this probably isn't the best choice if accuracy is important.

Luckily someone has a youtube video on how to hook it up and set it up. The cable colors do not match the supplied instructions. Lots of trial and error to wire it up, but it looks great!

Does not fit my Honda 600. I also bought an extra bracket which still cannot be fitted. Even when plugged in, the cables are too short to connect to the bike strap. It's a shame, because I was really looking forward to this addition to my bike.

Connection instructions are terrible. I spent more time than I should have traced fault indicator and ohmmeter leads. Do not purchase this item if you do not have the time or experience with electrical systems as this will just be a never ending disappointment. After everyone was connected, the cone found the LCD backlight flickering. Broken off the shelf. I hope the replacement works.

When using on a bike that already has a speed sensor (in my case it's an 01 Yamaha Roadstar) you can use the speed sensor already on the bike instead of the supplied magnetic sensor. Just find your wires and swap them until you get speed (we used 1st gear on the jack). In my application only 2 wires are needed. I wish the instructions were a bit more detailed and wished it came with a bracket. but it seems to be working fine.
