The dangerous Micro USB connector sparked and melted. When I first charged the phone this way, the micro USB port overheated and started smoking. It was in a camper van, luckily the friend was asleep and the smoke woke him up and stopped him before a full fire broke out. When it was disconnected from the phone, it caught fire, suggesting a short circuit had occurred. In addition to damaging the cable the first time it was used, it also damaged the phone's charging port, which is beyond repair and costs several hundred dollars to replace. Overall I am very dissatisfied with this product.
