With all of this remote learning and working from home, we found we needed to install a webcam on our Windows 10 desktop. We decided to try the indoor webcam. Here are some of our thoughts after using it for a few months: - This webcam was plug and play for us. We just plugged it into a USB port and the operating system took over. Software like Zoom recognized it without any problems. The camera aperture is wide. I would have preferred something with a tighter frame around my face than a wide shot of the entire room in the background. All webcams must come with a physical cover to fully cover the lens. The indoor webcam doesn't have this feature, so you can turn the webcam off when not in use, or maybe put a protective sticker on the lens. The microphone works well and the receivers on the other hand claim the connection is crystal clear. EAT it. This is a pretty serious webcam that just works. It also attaches securely to the top of the monitor, so the mounting hardware is excellent. If security and privacy are a priority, you can most likely do better. But it's a solid product no matter what. highlighted.
