UPDATE: My daughter is now 3.5 months (had almost 2 months) and is doing better. She's had so many firsts on this mat. She has already learned to roll from stomach to back and almost rolls from back to stomach. The blanket is nice and soft, you can ride on it. She is addicted to the musical monkey and really starts kicking her legs like crazy while looking at herself in the mirror. It's held up through 2 diaper poop blasts, 2 good washes and lots of drool from a teething baby so far! She plays it for about 30 minutes for hours during the day! My 7 week old daughter LOVES IT! The music is nice and the two sound settings are great as I personally find the volume button to be a bit louder but a quieter sound is ideal. She was initially attracted to the toucan (I'm guessing it was mostly black, those are the colors she could see first). Now she begins to stretch and swing for him. She too is just beginning to look at herself in the mirror. Can't wait to use balls too when she learns to sit on her own. All in all, this is a fantastic playmat!
