I have a first generation Surface 2-in-1 tablet. The cable I had with me was short and fell apart. Eventually it stopped charging my laptop. When I found this replacement I was a little worried that it wouldn't be compatible or that it wouldn't work. But it works great! Connected via magnetic connector and fully charged my device. I also like that the cable is all in one and seems to be more durable than the original cable. All in all, I highly recommend it as a replacement or backup cable for compatible devices!
