Excellent speaker cable for home use

This cable is ideal for loudspeakers. While there is confusion and controversy over speaker cable sizing, this cable is more than adequate for most home speakers. It is made from 100% copper, unlike aluminum which is simply plated with copper. Unless the distance is significantly more than 30 feet, 16 gauge copper wire should work fine in a typical home since electrical resistance is minimal. In addition, only large bass speakers require high power anyway. So if you don't have large floorstanding speakers, rest assured this cable will work for you. For small surround speakers, this cable should work fine for at least 100 feet. I especially like that this wire is round, white, and flexible as it blends well in the door frame, runs through my house, and is easy to install. It's barely noticeable. My only complaint was the black print on the wire which can be wiped clean with a paper towel with the goof off. In my own house I have two pairs of big old floorstanding speakers with big woofers (12" and 15"). For these I chose thick 12 gauge wire but it wasn't necessary but overall I needed less than 50 feet of wire so the cost was about the same as 100 feet of this wire. I used thick 12 gauge wire for these, but that wasn't necessary. Nonetheless, I needed less than 50 feet of wire so the cost was about the same as 100 feet of this wire. I used thick 12 gauge wire for these, but that wasn't necessary. However, I needed less than 50 feet of wire, so the cost was about the same as 100 feet of that wire.
