My old clock radio has finally died after over 30 years of faithful service. I wanted something simple and small to replace it with. All requirements were thus fully met. It has better radio reception than my previous radio, but the sound quality isn't as good because the speaker is much smaller. I mostly listen to the news in the mornings, so the sound quality doesn't matter. I wouldn't recommend it for listening to music. I like the red sleep indicator. It has a light and dark setting. The bright setting is very bright and can be seen in sunlight. A dark environment just right for a bedroom. The buttons feel nice and the controls are easy to understand. There is no need to read the manual. The alarm signal is quite loud, but not intrusive. I really liked my old GE clock radio and wish it was gone, but it's a worthy replacement and takes up a lot less room on my bedside table.
