I did a lot of research before purchasing Yeskamo's 4 Camera Wireless System with 16" Monitor/2TB Hard Drive. I ended up buying this system because this system has the best performance and strongest reviews in this price range (on Revain and other sites I found on Google). turns on at night when motion is detected, a siren can sound when motion is detected (I don't use that), a smartphone app that lets you view and control all the cameras, a two-way mic setting, You can talk to either on the camera (I use that on the front door most of the time, but my wife and I used it once as an intercom in the backyard.), 24-hour continuous recording on the included 2TB DVR, you can easily upload video clips to the phone app. My biggest fear was that this is a Chinese product and I'm skeptical about ease of use and customer support. Well the instructions aren't very good and the software (the main system) isn't the easiest I've ever used. The system is VERY easy to install. It is preconfigured. Just run it and all cameras will work. Also makes up for this is that the US customer support is VERY responsive. I had a few questions and concerns about fully customizing the system. I emailed US customer service with questions and screenshots. They posted resolutions, including screenshots. They offered to call me by phone but their email instructions were so simple that I realized there was no need to call. Because of their information, I could easily solve my problems. Now that I am using the smartphone app, it has proven to be easy to use and feature rich. With the phone app, I can monitor our house 24/7 from anywhere. I love the system so much that I bought a fifth camera from Yeskamo and just installed it today. Once again, it was very easy to initialize a new camera on the system. I only had to run a single function, which automatically recognized and initialized it - it took 5 minutes. Note that I hired a professional company to run the power cords through the attic to all the cameras. Although no wired connection is required (because the cameras communicate wirelessly), you still need to power each camera. Because my power cords are installed by professionals, the installation looks perfectly clean. I spent $450 installing it, which is about the price of the system itself. Also note that my house is a decent sized ranch so it takes up a lot of square feet. All five of my cameras are outdoors and cover the whole house with wireless cameras that can communicate with the central DVR unit. Overall this is a great deal offering a state of the art secure outdoor video surveillance system with all the latest bells and whistles.
