My husband is disabled and has a lift chair. The remote is on a cable, but it kept falling to the floor and he had to haul it back up. This works very well for stowing away the remote so it is always within arms reach. It holds more than this one remote, but he never uses the other pockets. Oh well, whatever works for him. Just know you can use this for other remotes or items. The fabric is a bit flimsy, but it still works ok.
