I bought a pair of NHT C-3 bookshelf speakers for the amazing price of $536 plus tax, which is probably the best price I've seen. with new devices. The fit and finish are amazing, rivaling much more expensive speakers, and the cosmetic change from the rounded top and bottom of the earlier Classic Three makes for a simpler, more refined look. There are fingerprints on the surface, so you must wear cotton gloves to take the speakers out of the box. In terms of sound, the C-3 has everything you would expect from a high-quality tripod, with excellent stereo sound. Picture and sound stage presentation, but this system also has a remarkable continuity which, particularly in a large room, makes the transition from one driver to another almost seamless in this three-way design, with an overall effect more akin to a flat panel display.
