I needed to replace my wired emergency lights with smaller fluorescent lights. That fits the bill. The side magnet is very strong but should have a pivoting head so you can use it better because when using the magnet the light area is directly opposite the other side. The end magnet is too weak to hold upside down, but the clamping piece works well. I didn't charge and the LEDs immediately started flickering. I plugged it in and charged it and it's worked great for the few times I've used it. Will be updated as I use it more often when working with cars. But so far I am very satisfied, especially the price.
