Review on ☕ Keurig K15 Coffee Maker, Single Serve K-Cup Pod Brewer, 6-10 Oz Brew Sizes, Oasis by Travis Knight

Works well, compact form factor.

My wife and I were looking for something that would take up less space on our counter while living in an apartment and waiting for our house to be built. Kerig K15. It's compact and doesn't take up as much space as my K55. There are three small downsides to be aware of. 1) There is no reservoir. Each time you want to brew a cup, water needs to be added. We thought it wise of us to keep only one cup of water in the warming tank and the other cup "loaded" in the measuring tank at a time. There was an error. We quickly found that as soon as you open it to put the K-Cup in, it empties water from the measuring tank into the heating tank. The general tank was already full and water ran all over the meter. 2) Since there is no tank, the machine heats water as needed. Brewing takes an additional 2-3 minutes. 3) It's definitely shorter than I expected. It's actually too short to fit in one of our regular 10-ounce mugs without removing the drip tray. A bit of a shame because it's definitely not big enough, even with the drip tray removed, to fit in one of our travel mugs. That doesn't mean your regular/travel mugs won't work, but ours did. We just always leave out the drip tray. If we're going to use our travel mugs, we need to use two mugs to get the job done. I've attached some photos so you can see what I'm talking about. I have to deduct 1 star for the fact that it doesn't fit in anything other than standard 6-8 ounce cups without removing the drip tray (you can find Denny's or IHOP for example). I would take away the 2nd star because while it can make a 10 ounce mug, it does NOT fit in ANY of our travel mugs. Obviously it's not Kerig's fault, but it still annoys me that I have to brew in a mug and pour it into my travel mug.

Pros
  • Water Reservoir: One-cup water reservoir for maximum portability - just add fresh water for each infusion.
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
