Better than expected. but starting to show problems

(Read full review)(In my opinion I wasn't paid or received) When I was looking for a new tablet when my kids broke the screen of my ASUS I did a did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. I was looking for one in the $100-$150 price range, after a lot of research and reading reviews I narrowed my choices down to this tablet and the ACER Iconia. I chose these simbans; mainly due to the fact that it had additional features of USB and micro-HDMI ports not offered on other tablets in this price range. At first glance, the optics are pleasant. I really like the feel of the rubber on the back, although in the case it's kind of a quiet spot, but without the case it feels like it's much easier to hold in your hands and you feel like that you will have some grip unlike smooth plastic or metal. It feels quite sturdy and has the feel and look of a fairly well built device. With 2 gigabytes of RAM, it offers a fairly quick response and offers enough speed to run multiple tasks at the same time. Android 7 is pre-installed on the device and it only took a few minutes to set up. 32 gigabytes of memory is what I was looking for as my old ASUS with 16 gigabytes of memory offered little extra storage with all the malware preinstalled that comes with most tablets, which was nice as this tablet offers very little malware, so 32 gigabytes of memory is even better. The graphics are on par with other tablets in the same price range, not excellent but decent enough, no problem watching videos on this tablet as the quality is pretty good. Thing is, my sound isn't the best. It has two small speakers on the sides which, to be honest, aren't as good as they could be. My old ASUS has one speaker in the front which gives better sound quality than two on the sides of this speaker. I've yet to use headphones or a connected speaker, but I'm confident it will deliver great sound with one of those devices. the entire device to force a proper reconnection. I will update my review once I have time to try and test the product on a more thorough scale. Update September 20, 2018 So I had about two weeks to test this tablet. I was able to test the mini HDMI port - at first I couldn't get it to work on one of my TVs - so I thought it didn't work at all, but then I tried it on another Samsung TV and it worked great. , so I think it might just not be compatible with the TV. I have verified that the USB is working properly. I inserted the micro SD card with no problems. The tablet did the trick and the images and videos come out a bit darker than they should be. but very little, if any. The sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, if it wasn't for the sound quality I would probably give it 5 stars. this is a great device for the money. I haven't found another tablet that offers the same price as this one. so far very satisfied. if something changes I will update again Update: 10/20/2018 I am still satisfied with this tablet, it works great. However, there are times when the tablet just turns off completely. not sure why he does it. The first thought was that maybe I'm not monitoring the battery and it's completely drained, but it's not. The battery was about 30% charged, now it happens more often, even with a battery percentage of about 50%. It gets really annoying. I'm not sure if this is a software issue or not. I'm not sure if anyone else has encountered this problem. Overall I think it's still a great tablet for the price. To update. The 10-25-18 tablet is currently having issues where it just shuts down even though the battery is close to 50%. I'm tempted to downgrade it to 3 stars if it continues. This problem needs to be solved very quickly. An email was sent to the company on 10/28/2018. The tablet comes with a one year warranty and they say they will fix the problem or replace the tablet. Will update again with news. 11/07/2018 - received a replacement tablet today. So I have to say that the one-year warranty is undoubtedly one of the main advantages of this tablet. I told them about the above problems and they sent me a replacement. I had to pay to send another unit back but I still think it was worth getting a brand new one instead. I'm leaving my rating at 4 stars for now. great product, great customer service, great warranty. You can't go wrong with this device. Update: 11/26/2018 The replacement tablet I received now shows the same issues. As soon as the battery level falls below 50 percent, it switches off automatically. Maybe a software problem Maybe a software problem. Without this problem I would have given 4 stars. Let's see how the support team reacts. Customer service responded and said they were getting other complaints about the same battery issue and said they must have had a bad battery batch. They mentioned that they would like to refund my money or I could get another replacement. I'm stumped because despite battery issues and the occasional Wi-Fi hiccup, it's still a really decent tablet for the price. I'm still having a hard time finding anything that compares to what this tablet offers, even in the same price range. But the problem with the battery is huge, in the past it was a small inconvenience, but now it's a big problem. I initially gave it 4 stars but had to downgrade it to 3 due to a battery issue and an accidental Wi-Fi disconnect. I returned the tablet for a full refund and bought a new Samsung Tab A at a $100 discount on Black Friday. No comparison between the 2. Despite the lack of a mini HDMI or USB port, the Samsung is still much better.
