I recently received a starter kit to expand our Wi-Fi network. We live in an old townhouse and it can be difficult to get good coverage on all 4 floors and each side of the house. The first set made it possible to cover most of the house, which was very useful when the wife and children are completely virtual for work and study. We realized we also needed to cover the basement and top floor, so I added two more units - one in the bedroom and one in the back of the house. We get amazing speed everywhere with no signal loss. Adding more nodes is easy with the app (I have an Android phone and the app works great). The application allows us to see which devices are connected. Once you do that, you'll quickly realize how many devices you have - we have 2 Rokus, 4 phones, 4 laptops, gaming systems, 2 Alexa devices, and that doesn't count when there are others in the house. We never experience buffering or dropouts. I'll add that we have really fast internet at home, so the speed is partly because we pay a lot of money to Comcast, but this mesh system is useful for taking advantage of speeds. Also, we just added a wireless security system, and for that we needed to connect a base station. Since each device has Ethernet ports, we didn't have to run additional cables throughout the house.
