Review on Vie Long 13070 Horse Shaving Handle by Misty Gomez

This is my first attempt at a horsehair brush and by far the best of the six brushes I own. The olive wood handle is short and fits comfortably in the hand, being held with the fingers rather than the palms. The bristles are on par with a clean badger brush but seem to lather up much faster than any other brush I've used, from silver tip to boar brush. I've been using this daily for the last week to break it down properly and not lose a single hair. It takes a little longer to get used to than most brushes, so be prepared for the smell of wet animals for the first few uses. It doesn't hold heat as well as most brushes, but holds moisture just as well as a silver tip. I recommend this brush and will be buying more horsehair brushes in the future.
